MICHAEL JACKSON’S AUTOPSY REVEALS HE WORE A WIG

Michael Jackson’s full autopsy report has been released and it reveals some interesting things about the pop star.

According to Reuters, the autopsy showed:

  • Jackson had the skin pigmentation disorder vitiligo, with white patches particularly on his chest, abdomen, face and arms.

  • The hair on Jackson’s head was described initially by police as “sparse and connected to a wig.” The autopsy revealed “frontal balding.”

  • On Aug 6th, a month before his burial, police went to the mortuary where his body was being held to collect hair samples for toxicology tests. The casket was described as yellow with a blue lining and Jackson was wearing a long, dark wig. “Moving the wig revealed short, dark, curly natural hair…measuring approximately one and a half inches in length.”

  • Jackson’s body was covered with small scars on his nose, knee, shoulder, neck, wrists and behind both ears.
  • A closed bottle of urine was found on a chair in the bedroom where the singer died, along with a box of catheters, disposable needles, alcohol pads, several empty orange juice bottles, a string of wooden beads and a green oxygen tank.

  • He had dark tattoos near both eyebrows and a small pink tattoo near his lips.

  • His body weighed 136 pounds, was 69 inches long, and was described as “thin.”

HOWARD STERN WANTS $100 MILLION TO REPLACE SIMON COWELL

Howard Stern could be replacing Simon Cowell on American Idol — if the money is right. Howard admitted on his Sirius radio show yesterday that he’s been in talks to take over for Simon. Though Howard said “it would be the best thing that happened to me,” he stipulated that he’d take the job under one condition. “They’d have to pay me a ton of dough because I already make a ton of dough. A hundred-million dollars to judge a karaoke contest? Yeah, I would do that show for 100-million dollars.” The shock jock, whose five-year contract with Sirius is up at the end of the year, said he’d quit radio if he took the T-V gig.

SUPER BOWL STUNNER: Saints Beat Colts

The New Orleans Saints upset the Indiana Colts 31-17 to take their first Super Bowl victory, providing a spiritual lift to the city still recovering from the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina.

The Colts’ Payton Manning may have received the most pre-game hype, but in the end it was Saints quarterback Drew Brees who was named the game’s most-valuable player. He tied a Super Bowl record with 32 completions, including a two-yarder to Jeremy Shockey with five-minutes-and-42-seconds remaining for the winning touchdown.

The Colts led at halftime, but New Orleans came out of the locker room with an onside kick touched by the Colts’ Hank Baskett and recovered by the Saints Chris Reis, which ultimately led to a Saints touchdown.

The Saints’ victory was sealed when Tracy Porter intercepted a Manning pass in the fourth quarter and ran it 74 years into the end zone in a play that recalled Porter’s pickoff of Brett Favre’s pass in the N-F-C championship contest.

SUPER BOWL: Super Random Stats

You may not know much about football, but you’re going to watch the Super Bowl anyway. But just because you don’t know a tailback from a tight end doesn’t mean you can’t drop some super trivia during the game. So here are some random facts that you can wow your friends with … In 2004, 141 million Americans watched the Super Bowl. That’s compared to only 126 million Americans who voted in the 2004 presidential election. 1.5 million television sets are sold the week before the Super Bowl Your average calorie intake during the game is about 1,200 calories. Potato chips are the most popular football snack, accounting for 27 billion calories and 1.8 billion grams of fat on Super Bowl Sunday alone. There are 7.5 million Super Bowl parties held each year, more than any other at-home party. Antacid sales rise 20 percent the day after the Super Bowl. Fans of the losing team are 28 percent more likely to suffer a fatal heart attack. You would need about 13,333 NFL linemen (at 300 pounds each) to balance the four-million pounds of fat consumed from potato chips on Super Bowl Sunday.

AMERICAN IDOL: The Final Auditions

We saw the last of the try-outs on last night’s American Idol. Ryan Seacrest hosted the look at some of the season’s most memorable auditions…

  • Larry Pratt and “Pants on the Ground” made a strong showing.
  • Amanda Shectman, who can talk with her mouth closed, sold a skeptical Simon Cowell on sending her to Hollywood.
  • Lee Dewyze took advice, got rid of his guitar and made it through on his own.
  • Lacey Brown, who was in last season’s top 15, made it back into the pack with “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”
  • Beefy 17-year-old man-child Adrian Chandtchi has the voice of a 12-year-old girl. His high-pitched version of “Can’t Help Falling in Love With You” left the judges laughing.
  • Muscle-bound father-to-be Michael Lynche showed a strong voice and made it through to Hollywood.
  • 16-year-old Aaron Kelly showed country charm to make it through.
  • Shaddaii Harris, who brought her mom for moral support, was off-key and quickly off the stage.
  • Hope Johnson closed out the auditions with a heart-tugging tale. She grew up poor and naive, thinking that a lot of kids don’t get dinner. Hope made it to Hollywood singing Lee Ann Womack’s “I Hope You Dance.”
